Get Involved with The Ohio Light Opera
The Ohio Light Opera is a summer in residence company in Wooster, Ohio, located in north central Ohio. Cast opportunities include both a young artist program as well as Resident Professional artist employment opportunities for a total of a 36 person cast. Vocal auditions are held annually in a number of cities across the nation, usually in November and December.

2012 Childrens Auditions

Ohio Light Opera is excited to announce 2012 Childrens Auditions. Auditions will be held on April 22nd, 2012. Please find the required materials needed to audition below. Complete the application form and mail it to: The Ohio Light Opera, 1189 Beall Ave, Wooster,OH 44691 by April 20th, 2012 to be contacted for your audition time. Orchestra auditions are held in March each year to fill the 30 positions in the pit orchestra of the Company. There are a number of technical positions, both as internships and via employment. There are a number of volunteer opportunities, including ushering, unpaid internships and other worthwhile educational opportunities that reflect the core mission of the College of Wooster which is where the company is in residence each summer. Auditioning for Strings, Woodwinds, Brass, Percussion and Harp
Must be available June 1 - August 12, 2012
Housing in addition to stipend

Please complete and submit the online application form, $35 application fee, recorded audition files and your resume to the Ohio Light Opera no later than February 20, 2012
