Get Involved with The Ohio Light Opera
The Ohio Light Opera is a summer-in-residence company in Wooster, Ohio, located in north central Ohio.
Orchestra Applicants – Please be prepared to upload a required resume; submission of a headshot is optional but encouraged. As part of the application, you will be asked to supply three people’s names and email addresses who can complete a short recommendation form. After you submit your application, we may contact your recommenders directly for their feedback, and their responses may become part of your application. You must upload recordings as part of your application. We are not able to consider orchestral applicants who do not upload the required recordings online. Uploaded recordings should include the exposition from a concerto and two contrasting orchestral excerpts of your choice. In the audio and/or video sections you should upload an exposition from a concerto and two contrasting orchestral excerpts. Percussionist applicants note: a 1-2 minute portion of a sonata may be substituted for the exposition of a concerto. Please upload each selection as a separate file.

Must be available for Wooster, Ohio Residency June 3, 2025 – August 4, 2025
Housing provided, and stipends begin at $2,500
No Application Fee is required.
Applicants who are neither U.S. citizens nor College of Wooster students should work with their home institutions to determine if they are eligible for employment. If applicants are non-U.S. citizens and not enrolled students, The College of Wooster does not sponsor visas for any staff positions.
